Default quick question.. but very important

ok i have a 95 eclipse gst as some of you already know.... runnin 14 lbs of boost... what should i gap my spark plugs at? i think what it says under the hood is wrong.. i have denso iradiums if it matters...

lol i dont even gap mine... I just throw them in, check dsm tuners.com and search for spark plug gap and I can promess you that you will find your answer.

That or look into getting some double plats for your car they're pre gapped LOL.

If I were you I'd get rid of those iridium plugs (which can get really hot) and go to the dealer and pick up the stock NGKs (copper, much cooler spark). They have a double-electrode and they don't need to be gapped. If you MUST use the iridiums, then your best bet is to gap that at a minimum of .032 for 14PSI.

you really should get rid of the iridiums. buy NGK BPR7ES or NGK BP7ES. They are the same, but the second comes without the noise interference resistor so theyre cheaper. Gap them .030. When you start to run 18+ psi buy BPR6ES and gap at .028

Yeah definately get rid of the iridiums. I'd say look into Bosch those are what I personally use. the double platinums.

I use the stock NGKs and never had a problem. They may not last as long as platnium but if you change them once every year or two it really doesnt matter.

i had some nkg's they worked well... but im just gonna have to say double plats...i love them... for the price and quatilty... you can't really beat them...
