[align=left]i have a 99 eclipse gs w/a relatively stock 420a engine, i have aem cold air intake and full exhaust from headers back, so now that you all know what i have ill ask my question, is it worth 200 bucks for an obx intake manifold, note taht im not trying to make a race car here im just trying to give my everyday street car a little horsepower is the manifold a must have for horsepower or is there more things i can do for cheaper??? also the same question about a throttle body spacer

Since your like me and have a 420A, thats a good source of information.

 

intake manifold and TB are pretty much worthless. You wont see any real gains from it. Nor will you will most of the mods on that car.

 

i didnt know you had a 420 josh...oddddd

 

c577, is the manifold new or used? that is the price of them new. the only thing it will do is look good in your engine bay.it won't give you any real gains hp wise. a tb spacer won't give you any noticible gains either however a ported out throttle body will increase your throttle response. you won't get much power out of this car period without dumping some real money into it but if you want any kind of extra power i'd say get a valve job and some cams. mabey talkin 10whp if ur lucky.

my hopefull car within the next 4-5 years is either probably an Acura TL Twin Turbo'd. Classy, fast, and 4 door.

 

You gonna do all the fab work? Ive never seen any type of kits for the new acura's.. I had a 01 Acura 3.2 CL Type S, but I couldnt find much for it..
