I have a 98 eclipse, and i'm trying to get to my drivers side speaker to replace it. I need to remove the door handle before the panel comes off. My friend told me to look for pins on the handle but I can't find any. The only way I see it coming off is by pulling, and I dont feel like breaking it. Is there some kind of trick?

I've done this a few times so here you go: There is a small screw just behind the handle itself that hold the handle backing to the door. Unscrew that (obviously) then take the backing off only. You won't need to remove the handle entirely as you can just slip the interior door cover off around it. There's 2 screws hold the inside door cover close to the front of the door and 2 in the rear of the door. Unscrew those and then either using a large flathead screwdriver or a door remover (I think you can get one at like Pep Boys or AutoZone. Someplace like that, but I've never used one) pop off the interior door cover and there you go!
Good luck, it's not hard to do but just remeber that if you have electric doorlocks there'll be wires holding the interior door cover to the door. You'll either have to disconnect the harness or prop it up somehow.
