my friend just got an exhaust for his porsche cayenne and it sounds *&%$ nice! anyway i dont think you guys really care about his car... but i asked one of the workers at the same shop and he says that my car will sound good if i took out the resonator. now i know this could be done for cheap. but how will it sound? is it worth it? will i get pulled over by cops because its too loud? im driving a eclipse gst. thanks.

Resonator adds back pressure, and does little for sound. Plus it needs to be cut out and welded stright. Call me crazy but I dont think that our stock exausts have resonator's, or atleast mine didnt. Personally I would drop the cayt and bang it out. It will sound a little louder and throater, dosent require welding. But you wont pass inspection.
