Default factory CD changer

Can someone please tell me the part # for the factory 10 disk CD changer in a 97 Eclipse Spyder?

Alternatively, could someone tell me if a Mitsubishi CD changer with part # A996RC1X01 will work in my 97 Eclipse Spyder?

The local dealer was no help. All he could tell me was that my car originally did not have a CD changer.

I already knew that, that's why I was trying to find out what would work. My stock stereo has the tape deck with the separate single CD player below it, but has the controls for a CD changer.

Thanks In Advance,

Curtis

Default RE: factory CD changer

I'd say go down to best buy and talk to a guy in the install depo. They know everything. Also If you looking for a cheap cd player a stock cd changer is a bad idea I can cost just as much as a new aftermarket cd player. Satan sees green when poeple want oem parts.
