i have a mitsubishi eclipse rs 1996 . i just added a blitz body kit to it and a ordered the small round reverse lights for older 2nd generation models. now the light fits with the body kit but it hits metal when i push the light in and wont go in all the way. any ideas?

 

what year lights did you order. if you have a 96 the lights should be from a 97-99 not older then your 96. there should not be anything behind the bumper were the lights go.
