Default RE: Revised Lifters

i will be using the head until i get all the parts i need for the swap (which might take a while). The tick is annoying so thats why i just wanna get rid of it in the meantime if its interchangable so....Especially since ill have to buy them anyway because the 4g63 head lifters do the same.

My engine now 4g64

Head im putting on 4g63

will 4g63 lifters work on the 4g64? Mitsu dealer said the part numbers are different, but they both have the same lifter tick defect so they might be the same. I need a for sure answer.

so the reason i want them is because ill need to change them anyway(on the stock 63 head), might as well do it now.

Ya by that I mean Seconed Generation 4g63's, because it says specifically that it works on 1993 4g63's....I didn't know that the 1993 4g63 is different from any other. Wheres TheEngineer when you need him!!!

yea that was the one i was looking at that gave me the hint they were all the same.

But the more i look at them at other websites they all say for 4g63 turbo motors only. So im would have to say they are not gonna be interchangable. I wouldnt even bother getting some for the 4g64 head. Just deal with the noise. Its not gonna cause any problems.

but why exactly would those just be able to work on the 1993 4g63 head? Is the 1993 head different from the others?
