My RPMS go up and down very quickly, i think its starts to happen when i have the car on for a while. It only happens when i make a complete stop ? They told me it was the 2 air sensors which i replaced.It still keeps doing it.I also did a tune-up the spark plug cableslooked very good so i kept the same ones.They are performance cables, thicker than normal ones.Ialso decided to keep them because i only had like2 months with them. I also have a blow off valve on my car it is the GREDDY TYPE.Maybe the valve is bad and its leaking? Then later the shop told me it could be the computer because they told me they cant clear the engine light because the computer wont do the recycling option when it suppose to check the whole car???I think they are lying because they had checked it on the computer and had told me to replace lots of things.And nothing seems to help?
I disconnected the battery and the light goes off but then comes on again after a few miles?

i had the same exact problem i then changed the IAC and it fixed it its kind of under the throttle body on the passenger side but i dont have a picture of it

a search would have found your answer as idle surge is very common problem

 

IAC. Been there done that.

 

yeah i had the same problem and had to change it out and then fine tune the BISS. she runs like a champ now
