I Just got a 97 Eclipse RS and it is the ony RS that ive seen with power windows and locks the only problem is the the locks dond lock useing the power locks and the sun roof wont open. I have replaced the small fuse in the fuse box and it made a locking noise but only the driver door locks. I took out my cd player and found a bigger fuse behind it and wenever i pelled it of it made a locking nosie. Ten I opened the sun roof switch compartment and found wireing the led to the fuse. Im thinking that I have to replace that fuse but im not sure.

 

fuses are definetely the first thing to check. Make sure they are all good. Then for the locks since one works i would say its not the switch, its probably a wiring issue.

 

Also you said it made a locking noise but did it actually lock? Making the noise says to me that the motor is good. BUT now is the motor attached to the lock rods. And if only 1 side made the noise I'd guess the other motor might be bad...
