Of course it can. You can build a Geo Metro to be strong, doesn't mean you should do it, or that its any good. Regardles, its laughable.

 

Just to clarify, the rs/gs is the DD motor and the gst/x is the performance motor lol. The point is that with all the money you spend to turbo a rs/gs, it will have the same hp as a stock gst/x and in fact could have bought onefor the price it took to make that powerlol. It's just not cost effeciant.

the problem with doing it is... it's stupid. you can get a gst these days for under 4k and you alread have a good pretty quick foundation for much more power. you could be 350whp with just a little bit more than 1k into the motor. it would cost you at least 3k to make a 420a 300whp worthy. and even after that... it's not meant to take the abuse.

a friend of mine wants still wants to turbo his GS. I told him that when he does, me and Bestwiseguy will wait for him to catch up at the stoplights.

lol, the worst part is he got me into a dsm, i was looking for a gsx, and it's his dream car. even let him drive it around. it was paiinful for him.
