Default SAFC 2 vs dsm link

currently i have a SAFC 2 installed into my car. I am ordering a dsm link and was wondering if i will still need the SAFC because i think i can tune the A/F with the dsm link but i am not sure. on the web site it says Fuel/Timing Provides RPM-based fuel and timing adjustments. The ECU automatically calculates the more complicated airflow based adjustments from your settings but im not understanding if that lets you adjust the A/F like the safc2 does?

As is means that my gf was pissed at me and ripped it out of the glove box and when she did that she broke the connector that connects the wires to the computer so all yyou would have to do is resodder them back onto it. i told her that i wouldent be able to fix so she would buy me the dsm link and now she is buying me the dsm link so i have to buy the ecu for it so if you want it let me know

yes with dsmlink it will tune your a/f ratios and your timing, however you need a laptop to run it instead of how the safc is its own unit. Because all dsmlink is, is a program.
