Default safe boost level

Right now im running close to 13 psi stock turbo on my 98 gst. how much psi can it reliably handle . i heard 15 but i just wanna be sure

You can run 15 safely, some ppl I know run 16-18 PSI, but thats probably not the safest boost to run.

15 stock is fine. up to 17 on stock turbo with bigger fuel pump.

You're altitude is a factor aswell. I personally live in CO roughly 5.2k feet or 6.3k at the local track. 2.5k feet = 1psi roughly. Since 14.7psi is natural pressure at sea level and at 5280ft it is 12.5 +/-

anything safe for sealevel will be even safer up in the mountains. ex 15psi will be less dense in the mts so will actually be a little slower than 15psi at sea level. altitude is a factor for safety yes, but psi is psi no matter where you are you can still set your boost controller at 15psi.
