Default Short shifter questions

hey guys ive been wondering what short shiftershould i get?which one is the best one?and does it realy make a difference? does anyone know where i can buy one for under 100.00 a good brand though

Shorter shifter= less distance to cover when shifting, thusly a quicker shift.

B&M are tried and true for the 2G. They're not under $100 though.
I've got a clone and I've had the clone for some time. It was also second hand...still going strong. It installs the same as the real one and has the two settings of 35% and 50% shorter throw. Those ARE under $100. Some will say don't get them some will say they're fine. Mine is going on 2 years with me + however many from the previous owner. I've removed it twice to apply loctite...because I forgot to after adding some missing washers. That was almost a year and a half ago. I've since only adjusted to 50% of a shorter throw....I hate it. I'm going back to 35% shorter throw.

hey silver, which hole are you using on the sifter to make it a 50% shorter?
