Default RE: short throw shifter questions??

A short shifter reduces the throw in between each shift. It makes shifting a bit harder, but with teh proper set up and practice,is a step towards shaving numbers at teh track. That along with a bushing kit makes basically eliminates the play during a shift. The perrin short shifter is a fine piece, but you will need the shifter bracket they sell, unless you have teh skills to shave the stocker with a dremel or something.

Ya I had the b&m short shifter in my 99 eslipse gst, the base bushings and the shift cable bushings too. Def made a nice difference and quicker shifts. I was just mainly what everyone was using for shifters which ones suck and which one are worth the money
