did searches and it said i wasn't being specific enough or something. Does anyone here use short shifters and if so what kind? i want to know what the majority uses, so far ive seen hurst, B&M, and Matrix on the summit site ive seen others but i cant remember what others ive seen on other sites. so throw it out there (please?)

What's wrong with the ones you've already listed? The B&M is more of a short throw than a short shifter btw. It shortens the throw up to 50%. I personally like the 35% shorter throw better because it's easier to find the gears while quick shifting.

actually B&M is listed to shorten by 30%. I would go with them. They are a good name brand.

The throw or the shaft length? The throw can be shortened to 35% or 50%.

yah i want shorter throws, sorry for the slight confusion in my posting. is that what you guys use, or is your shifter stock?

Yeah i have a B&M, and i LOVE it! i have it set to 50% shorter throws and it works great, i've never had a problem with it... it took a little getting used to but once i did it was awesome... easy to install too, totally worth it. I almost got the pacesetter short shifter from summit, but i decided to add the extra couple of bucks and got the B&M, glad i went with that decision
