I have a '95 GS with the 420a, stock, and was wondering if I should get this?

where are you buying it from?

 

EBAY. There is an online shop that has this kit, and it's the cheapest I've found, so I haven't jumped on it yet. I really want a smaller turbo though.

The turbo itself costs more than that... that alone should tell you that something if not everything is not genuine

 

did anyone else notice also that there is gonna be alot more he needs before putting this in. Its very concievable that it could come with all that for that price because there not giving you a complete kit. Sebba that turbo isnt worth that much money. Its not that big of a turbo and from the pics you can see i dont even think its an actual turbonetics turbo.

 

i've been looking at the same kit man and i'm up in the air about it.... it LOOKS good and all (manifold is beautiful) but the price scares me

 

I really dont see why the price is all that scary. Your paying for a manifold, a knock off turbo, and a very tiny intercooler.Probably not even the HKS BOV either. So you know what your buying. Where not talking about name brand parts here, so thats why its cheap. The piping if you paid extra for probably isnt great either.

 

that is why im scared to get it, quality. i don't wanna get the kit on and blow my turbo 2 months down the road

 

I would be hesitant too. You can get a better intercooler then that and none of that stuff i guarentee you is a name brand. I think the turbo there is made by something like xspower or something. The BOV wont be the HKS one, it will be a knock-off. The manifold is about the only thing that might be halfway decent and you can probably get one of those for around $200. I woulnt buy it.
