getting my car painted..... i took off my sideskirts. i got all the clips. but what is the black rubbery stuff??

 

the black rubbery stuff?? i'm assuming ur talking about the strips of glue they use to help hold the skirt up, have them worry about taking that off, it's all part of the prep work... they have special rubber grinders that will zip that stuff right off without scratching the car

 

ok. but the guy that is doing it doesnt have that tool nor the glue...
where can i get this glue or what else can i get?

 

You can try some really good double sided tape.
