I'm getting out of the car today and happen to look down and see something on the footrest next to the clutch pedal. When i touched the sh*t dripping off the the boot in the third picture it was warm. Clutch fluid i'm guessing.....i found this. Help?

looks like it could be clutch fluid....does it smell like brake fluid...and i would guess there is a seal on the back of the master cylinder that is leaking tho i have never heard of that in any car

 

I dont think i've ever smelled brake fluid, if i have i dont remember the smell....I did smell this though and it didnt really smell like anything, there was a slight smell but i dont know what to compare it to.

 

your master cylinder is leaking.. no question about it

if you are gonna replace the master, replace the slave also....

 

and if ya wanna get better clutch feel and pressure get steel braided clutch line. only like 40-50$ good. mod...

 

want to know a secret? brake fluid and clutch fluid are the same. ssshh dont tell anyone

 

Know that you say that i feel like an idiot. I knew that but it just didnt register when he said that.
