I have a Big T28 60 trim turbo with the SMIC and I havn't run into any problems. How ever I did get a bigger and thicker SMIC then the stock one. The Big T28 is an exact replacement for the T25. You don't have to buy a kit to make it work. I would recommend looking into it.

I havn't been on a dyno with my Big T28 but the chart I have linked let you see the compairisons between turbos. Also the hp numbers can vary from the chart since it depends on why type of t28 you get.

It depends on why type of t28 you get. Look at my mods I have and with the T28 running 16 PSI My stock clutch slips every now and then. I'm pretty sure the stock clutch can only hold up to 300 hp. but i could be wrong.

I have an FP Big28 with all the supporting mods set at 21-22psi (I forget which) and I can tell you that it hauls ***. At 530 CFMs it only flows 20 CFMs less than an E316G. Thee price is the only downside, IMO.
