Default snowman fogger system and an intercooler

okay after seeing a stock intercooler from my eclipse ive decided it has to go bye bye and be replaced w/ a front mount.now comes the question smowman fogger system ive seen them used on subarus and the guys say its a 50 hp gainer same basic ideal as nos it cools the charge temp the only difference is that it uses a 50/50 mix of water and methanol. i think im going to to need a serious engine management system and may be i just need a afc do any of you guys know any thing about this system and if so what were your hang ups
thx

you are mentioning 2 types of cooling systems here. . . a fogger is a nitrous system. and a methanol system is just what it says, methanol/water cooling. methanol/water injected cooling is a small nozel that goes into your intercooler piping and sprays water, methanol or a combination of the 2 and cools your intake temp. however without some kind of engine management to controll timing, you are wasting your time and money.

i'm assuming that you are running a gs-t or gsx. what year? if you plan on leaving it stock than, it's not worth it, and will actually hurt you if you are running stock b/c it's more space for such a small amount of boost to go through. so unles you plan on upping ur PSI and HP, no it's not worth it. and until you get up to about 15psi or higher, you won't gain much from a methanol/water injection. nitrous will always give you power. so it basically all depends on what your plans are.
