So i just got to ask
So how hard would it be to Turbocharge a 1st gen GS(considering they have a n/a 4g63). Wouldn't it be basically the same work as buying a turbo upgrade gs-t? new turbo, fuel pump, injectors, afpr, and like safc2 or Dsmlink? I dont have any plans to do this, or would I really want to. Just curious about it

Yes it would. However internally, the motors are different. Pistons, rods, cams... maybe other things im missing. Basically you can turbo it doing the same mods you would normally do to a GST but you would only be able to run low boost thanks to the high comp ratio pistons... that means even stock boost would be too much for the engine to handle safely.

To add on and agree...
Adding a turbo to the N/A 4g63 is like adding a turbo to any other N/A motor, the same process and the same issues...the good news is that there's a turbo 4g63 that you can swap into there withought issues...just remember to get the ECU.
The amount of money spent to make the N/A motor more powerful will add up really fast compared to just dropping in the turbo motor.
The bottom line, $3k in mods will get you further on the turbo motor, than the n/a with less regrets later.
