Hey guys, it was that air leak. Damn, I love this turbo. You can definitely tell a difference between this turbo and the stock t25. I dont really like the turbo lag, but once it kicks in, DAMN. Anyway, thanks again guys. Appreciate all your help.

Alright guys. Everything was going fine, but now I have another little problem. I have stock upper intercooler piping with my turbo, but I do have lower intercooler piping (from intercooler to turbo) Anyway, I was driving my car, and hitting full boost, but around 5,000 to 6,000 it is pushing so much air (my guess) that the coupler on the top of my intercooler keeps popping off, causing to lose air like it did before. Is this when I need to buy upper intercooler piping? Will this fix the problem?

 

how much boost are you pushing? it may be time to upgrade to a fmic

 

nah i dont think he quite needs a FMIC. I say just get a good UIP. A nice hard pipe will flow that air alot better and that should fix it. The one in there now is just too small to handle all the air

 

Thanks guys. I know you guys told me to get UIP with this turbo, but i figured since I got Lower Intercooler Piping, it would help out. But I guess it didnt.

 

By the way, where did you guys get your Upper Intercooler Piping from?

Also, is it ok to have 3 inch intercooler piping?
