Spyder tranny question...
Will any other tranny fit in the 98 spyder? im having trouble finding a auto tranny for my 98 2.4L. Also, is changing the shift syncros hard to do. I know you have to split the case but wht does it entail? Right now i have 1st gear until it warms, then none. NO REVERSE

you can only get from 97-99 auto transmission from an eclipse 2.4L. Check out this website for used transmissions http://car-part.com/ i found plenty in my area

Thanks man! Got a tranny. got it in. NOW THE ENGINE WONT TURN OVER 
HELP!!!!!!!!!!
Car ran fine before tranny was out. i turned it to align the spindle with the inside dowls in the torque converter. everything went in fine. all is hooked up. in neutral, car rolls fine. Starter is fine. When you turn the key, is engages but doesnt turn over. Sounds SIMILAR to when ur starter is bad but this on is not. There is the distinctive shift of the motor when engaging, just will not crank. Yes, tried with jump box, another car and a different battery. still, just cranks like frozen. both were tested,and neither were. so, whats next? ........
