Squeaky Belts I Need Help Plz!

Default Squeaky Belts I Need Help Plz!

Soo to make a long story short i replaced all my belts and sometimes when i start up my car they squeak and it's really loud and annoying it doesnt last very long but it doesnt need to be happining. I even sprayed them this belt stuff and that didint work. Does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do to make it stop?? Please comment i appreciate it

sounds like a bad tensioner. They get old and stuck and dont put the tension on the belt like the should.

You probably have to adjust the tensioner. If you need help I'm only 5 min away lol.

^ LOL thanks!!!! i always see u around and i dont realize it til tha last min than it's too late to beep haha. i might need help with that i'll that u know for sure... but thanks again i appreciate it

im pretty sure the tensioner is automatic so i dont really see how you can adjust it. I had to just replace the one on my car and that got rid of the problem you are having. They arnt to expensive or hard to replace

The tensioners on her spyder are not automatic.

ah, i see...well that is the alternator, is there another accessory belt on that car?

Yeah there are belts for p/s and a/c but they use the same style tensioner.

Soo it's not hard to fix?? Knowing me i'll prolly have trouble lol

well if it is manual tensioner then you simply need to tighten the belt
