Squeaky Belts I Need Help Plz!
#13
I'm having the same problem. It seems like after the car sits for awhile it will squel then once it's warmed up its fine. I've tightened the alternator and it still does it...I have also changed the belts. Could it be a loose bolt on the pulley? Still can't wrap my head around it

if its squeking then its still not tight enough. i dont think a loose pulley bolt would cause that since it would still spin at the same rotation and you said its fine once warm, so it has to be loose. You may also try some belt squeek spray you can get at any auto parts store but that may only be a temp fix.
