got a 97 gs-t, change my steering wheel ( got a momo g-trek ) my problem is that the airbag panel is always on?

1. how will i turn it off?
2. since i took off the driver side airbag, does that mean the passenger side airbag will not work now? is it connected to the drivers airbag?

 

Well if you wanted to just get rid of the light,take your cluster out and pull the bulb for the air bag,should'nt be too difficult.My guess is that as long as you have that steering wheel in place the light will remain on continuosly...
