You actually made me laugh : )

Well for the turbo i would say a 20g. I knew someone that ran 440awhp on one. (Close enough eh?).

Picking your turbo is one of the most critical parts of the build. I think thats a good choice. Then you are going to want to pick your motor. Buschur racing has a really decently priced one. Then you are going to want like 800cc injectors (Nothing cheapo), DSMLink and all that good stuff..... worry about that when the time comes.

However, i hope you realise, the total cost of this is likely to top 10k

Yeah I know but if you think about it it's no more expensive thanbuying a new car after everything is all said and done. It may even come out cheaper in the end and you have a car you truly love. Or at least that's how I rationalize it in my own head

well ive seen where people will reach 11 and 10 sec without even spending over 5-7k on the car total. Its all on where you get your parts from and if you do all your own work. But with 450hp the stock internals will work fine. It depends if you want to spend the extra on a built block or not.

BTW: i still have my block if you end up doing this.

No dude.. at 450 you are going to blow up really easily.

Remember that video of that red FWD talon throwing a rod on the dyno? That was running 450.. and the engine started knocking at like 425.

On an EVO... maybe... but NO WAY on a DSM

All I know is that I wnat my rods and pistons to stay firmly intact and operational inside the block and I have no idea which of you is correct.
