Stroker Kit

RE: Stroker Kit
a stroker kit can run you anywhere from 1800 - 3000... w/ that money you could get ur 50 trim or 20g which ever you end up with (i personally like forced performance products). bottom end rebuild and stll have money left over. a BB or DBB 20g or .50trim will spool by 4000-4200 no problem, that gives you apx 4k rpm's of full spool time which is GREAT. i don't see the money spent on a stroker kit benefiting you. usually they are only used on cars w/ massive turbo's like gt35r, fp3062, t55+ etc.

RE: Stroker Kit
yea, of course they wouldnt cause a stroker kit wouldnt do anything but help... but in this case it really wouldnt make that huge of a difference for that amount of money. at least thats my opinion

RE: Stroker Kit
depends on goals, 2.3L helps spool and makes street/road course driving a lot more fun. But if more displacement is the goal id highly reccomend a bigger block over a stroker kit, same result but revs smoother and more reliable. Hyandai sonata block fits perfect for 2.3L action

RE: Stroker Kit
on a 50 trim we are talking 200-400rpm difference in max spool. while that's nice to have and all, is it worth 2k to you? now when you start looking at larger turbo's like gt30, gt35, gt42 + then it starts making more difference. if you want a quicker spool time another thing to look into that's a lot cheaper than a stroker kit is upgrading your ignition.
