Default Strut tower bars

Has anyone bought these and do they really make a difference? And do you really need one for the rear towers? Say in a 2g.

Sorry i was hoping someone that had bought them could tell me "hell ya they work" or "waste of money". I know they help but i kinda wanted someone who had personal experience with them on this model.....
