I'm looking at getting a better suspension for my '98 gsx. I bought the car a few months ago and I know it has tokico struts and the guy cut the stock springs for a 3" drop.

I'd like to go with coil overs but everything I've seen is a bit pricey. Any tips on some springs with decent ride quality and around a 1-2 inch drop with decent prices? (3 inches is too damn low).

Specifically i've looked at eibach's sportline kit and they seem to have good reviews. The two inch drop isnt bad either but the $200 price tag is a bit hefty. Would I have any trouble fitting these to the struts I have?

This is my first dive into the import craze so any tips would be helpful.

 

i consider 200 to be cheap....if youre looking les than that, youre not going to have good quality. unless you luck out and find something used on ebay, but i dont buy used crap online.

 

dont cheap out on springs but then again anything is better/more safe than cut springs. Sportlines are still pretty damn low. Tokikos are already great shocks, id say go with eibach pro kit springs (perfect balance of spring tension and lowering) and you will have the best suspension setup you can get short of spending $2000+
