I would have to agree if he had a whole car he dose not have to worry about how **** plugs in hes got the whole harness and ecu. besides the fact it is 1 mount that neds to be compleaty moved and that is the upper lower looks to be in the same place all it takes is some time and many mesurments to get it right other than the mounts the rest of it is cake work with another car.


try turbochargers.com they have a evo GT 16g which is a evo III with a bigger flaper and ported for about 500 which isnt bad as for a fmic i noticed that there are alot of them on ebay only a few are going to be what you are looking for but they are about 350-400 if you have all the stuff to fab a mount you should be able to fab IC pipes. I am geting a 16 ton 3" pipe bender later this week making inkate exhaust and IC pipes with it All i got to pay is for pipe and bender which will cut about $700-$1000 off all the stuff i just named if i fab it myself.

There are only 2 that I know of that were ever done, one faild and the other i never herd of again. IF you do go through with it take a **** load of pics... good luck personally I would buy a 1g but if you want a motor swap then go for it.

 

I don't like the body style of the 1st gens and my girl has so many plans for this car that i wouldn't think of making her get rid of it. I'll make sure i take plenty of pics and details on how i did it all so i can help anyone that wants to do it in the future. When i'm done putting the motor in i'll have 300-350hp to the wheels. Its nice to see people have confidence in me even though you guys don't know me. Thanks.

there is a guy on another forum that i moderate that is dropping a 2G 4G63 inplace of a 420a. he seems pretty knowledgable about both engines. he already has the 420a engine out and is fabbing the new engine mounts. so between him and this guy, we should have some good information.
