Default t25 or t3/t4

i have a connection that wants to sell me a t25 for 150, thats been used, but not much, and another person willing to sell me a t3/t4 for 200 brand new never used what du i by?cause i dont want a **** load of horse power, but i want to be able to smoke any si,stang, or other eclipse?or any other suggestions?

What car do you have. If its a gst than the t25 is the stock turbo so you will see zero gains. And if you got the t3/t4 would be worthless without all the supporting mods and would be overkill if you dont want that much power. Why dont you save up and get a evo3 16g with supporting mods. Then you could be sitting comfortably at around 350 whp.

what all else will i need for support, better injectors,pump,fuel rail? anything else?

the minimumyou will need fuel pump, injectors,widebanda/f gauge, boost gauge,and a tunning device such a safc2. But it also wouldnt hurt to have a intake, uper and lower intercooler piping, bov, fmic, and im sure there a few other things that i cant think of at the moment. Exactly how much hp are you wanting.

if you are planning on building it up alot i would go with the t3/t4, it is a good turbo, just expensive.. but if it is just a dd play around, i would get the 16g, that is the most common turbo upgrade on the eclipse

well i want around 350 but not more than 380, cause its my frist car, im only 16, and yes i can drive, and shift good, and im trying to make it last me till college or after witch is when im gonna by a gsx or evo, or supra if i got the money, but yeah,i got an hks turbo timer, after martket intake, and im tolda straight pipe exhaust but i doubt it, so i plan on buying an exhaust, should i go with a 2.5 or a 3.0 with this new turbo? and all my money is pretty much getting poured into this car, and i plan on having it finished round new years, cause im getting alot of accersories, seats, and such like that for x-mas, and whats a safc2?and were can i purchase one, and a fmic???

fmic=front mounted intercooler. As for the safc2 it isa tuning device used to adjust air fuel ratios. Check out extremepsi.com,
itis a great website that you can get all of the above listeditems at and have great customer service.

you dont have headers to start with. not to be a smart *** just want to keep it clear. you could call it header, which is still not right but is closer, you have manifold... tubular or whatever

BTW the T25 will no way in hell get you 350HP, it will get you like 250HP at best on average. to get in your power range youll need a 16g at least or something around a 16g range like a 20g. They will get you into the range you want with the other supporting mods.

youll need to expect to pay around $7k or so to get around 380HP and that is a low guess assuming you get cheaper stuff. As for the SAFC, you wont have much luck tuning your car in at that HP range with an SAFC. you can do it, yes but it is worth it, no youll need something more like DSMlink or something
