If so, your MBC is fine, leave it. Your focus should be on those gashes on the UICP (upper intercooler piping). You have a boost leak. Any leak on the intercooler piping is considered a boost leak and any leak on the intake manifold is considered a vacuum leak.

You could be losing that 1 hg from the UICP. You could have a loosely seated throttle plate or the vacuum line going to the bov is leaking from the gash, through the bov. That's a really minor issue. Deal with that gash and you will once you get a new UICP for the new bov.

Bro, before you adjust the MBC any further, read the instructions. You're doing it all backwards.

i was orignailly doing it the right way. i used the coarse screw to get boost and fine **** to tune it. and i read that directions 1,000 times. and did exactly what it says. i notice a diff when i back the screw out but not a difference when i go in? could it be stuck. when i blew into it with the screw all the way out it would blow air threw and then stop regulate it. when i turn it in a about 1/5 the way maybe 1/4 and i blow threw i get no air coming threw at all. ??
