Default Tail Light Bulbs

Ok for all you 2g eclipse owners. What type of blubs do i need for my tail lights. I went to autozone and they told me i needed blub #2057. So i bought 6 to fit all three bulbs in the back. However, no matter what bulb i put in the bulb housing farthest away from the middle, it wont work. I thought it may be the housing itself broken.
Tonight, however, I went online and read on a website that I need bulb #1157 which looks like the same bulb. so confused.

any thoughts? What bulb # do you guys use? If i had the owners manual I'd look there. I've got other manuals for the car but can't find it in there.

best way to get faster blinking siganals is to change the blinker switch to a faster relay speed.

but i don't want faster blinkers. They are fast at the moment and i want them slow. The reason they're fast is because the ouside light on each side isn't working, but it's not the bulb
