i was looking at eclipses online, and one guy had a custom targa top mad eon his gst and i love the way it looks, does anyone have any idea how muhc it might cost a body shop to make my top into a traga top?

 

i have looked into this for my car as well and there is just a lot of work if you would have a shop do it i would say about 3-4k easy. just for the fact that it is more than cutting the roof. When you cut the roof of the car the whole car tries to colapse inward. so what has to be done is temp supports will be tacked on the inside roof will be removed. strcture braces will be located and installed. than the roof targa top can be bought or made and installed. making the car structurally sound is what is going to cost the bucks becuse they have to take all that strength that the roof had that kept the car stable and make up for it so when the top is off and you are accel or cornnering the car dont colapse on ya.
oh and do u have the link to the pic? wanna see what it looked like. was considering it but never say one on these types of cars.

hes got a roll cage so that takes care of his problem with the collapsing, he did it all himself i asked him about ti he hasnt answered me yet though ill let you know when he does

It looks pritty good but for the cost i dont think it is worth it. not if youhad a supra like int The Fast and The Furioius then OMG i think it would rock.

 

id never spend money on somethin like that, but damn i gotta say that looks a lot better than i thought it would
