why do you need a special thermostat? i would say just get an oem one from autozone or advance?

well seeing as how you have the 4g63 you might not have this problem but when i got the car the temperature gauge was always at a little less than half and now that ive had the car for a while it at about a little more than half and i spoke to my uncle about it and he said that the 160 thermostat should do the trick to lower the temperature. the 420a is oem at 195 and the 4g63 is oem at 180 in the eclipses. if there is any other suggestions that anyone might have on cooling the car down i am more than open to any other modifications to do so.

i understand this, dude i just got this gsx like 2 weeks ago, i used to have an rs for 2 years, i had a similar problem, it always took my car forever to "warm up" according to the gauge, just get a new thermostat from advance or auto zone and you'll be fine
