I'm 23 and I first saw this beautiful Black Eclipse when I was 12 years old. I told my dad he absolutely had to get my brother this car.....so that when I was old enough to drive I could have it. I called it the Bat mobile...since then it has had a lot of work done to it..just maintenance. I put in new headers and an air intake in 2007.

Today I took the car in to get an oil leak fixed, a timing belt was squeaking, and my ball bearings might have been rusty. They called back and told me a head gasket was leaking oil by the rear main seal, and they told me what I already knew, I had a dent in the oil pan.

They said it would be 2000 to fix and that they would sell my car for scraps.

I really don't want to part with it. As Eclipse enthusiasts..what do yall think? I have 14,000 to spend from when my Dad died. And it needs a paint job bc its getting rusty, It's worth it to me but its either that or buy a honda or something.

 

The car is a piece of ****, because it it has a turd of an engine from a Neon.

Get an engine from the junk yard and swap it in, and done.
