i'm tryin to find a throttle body for my 03 eclipse, its got a 4g63 in it, and everyplace ive found so far only sells the throttle body for an evo. anyone know of any sites that have them?

 

Couple things, the 3g comes stock with a 4g64 engine, which is similiar to the 4g63 in many respects. So maybe you have a swapped in 4g63? Not sure, but it's being done on a couple of 3g cars right now using parts from an evo. Now, the EVO has a 4g63 engine in it. Basically, the 4g63 and 4g64 engines from year 2000 and above cars share many parts. The throttlebody for an evo may fit into a 4g64 from a 3g, i believe with a little custom modification it will bolt-on somewhat easily.

You may want to try looking at Summit racing, i think that Edelbrock makes a TB for the 3g cars.

 

Most of the stuff I've seen from edelbrock has just been for honda and acura cars.
