Throttle body difference
Is there a difference between the automatic 2nd gen eclipse throttle body compared to the 2nd gen manual. Just that i don twant to buy it if its different. Somebody having a garage sale and i saw it, but it was takin from a auto eclipse. I wouldn't replace it but mine causes my gas pedal to stick.

From what I have seen of the GSX, mine in particular, there really isn't that much of a difference....engine wise of course. The TB should be the same...the only thing I have heard about throttle bodies is a ported 1st gen to allow a better flow. Other than that, same old thing.

no difference, but why would you want a second throttle body? you can take it to a shop and have them port it into like a 60mm if you want but it's really not something you need to have in reserve...

RE: Throttle body difference
Well its installed and working, but there a few minor things. The idle fluctuates alot, I adjusted the Biss screw by just turning it. Idle around 750-850. But at one point i got a idle control malfunction and i stalled it a few times. Also 1st gear seem to be so sensitive now. I left my foot on the gas and didn't move it and the car was jerkin and the rpm fluctuated. Thinking of adjusting the TPS that on there. Would that help.
