Default throttle body leak.

i have a 98 gst, i installed upper ic piping, upper elbow and lower ic piping from RRE. i boost leak tested it and i heard a hissing from the throttle body area. i have intake, catback, mbc, turbo timer and ic iping and 1gbov. i am running 15-16psi(no more) and i have about that much boost until about 5400rpm and when it goes up to 6 i have dropped down to about 10 psi.... any one have any ideas? i just ordered throttle body shaft seals because i heard they can leak really bad. and i have to brand new thottle body gaskets so i hope that should fix it. any pointers on changing the tb seals? anything i should be aware of?

yup you should be all set. Told ya it was a bit ofa pain. Did you try using the socket to bang the seal in? Cuz i found that to work easy. And dont forget to make sure you turn the spring on the throttle so that its at the right tension. And also you may have to adjust the TPS with the bolt to make sure its correct for idle

yeah. at first i thjought the spring was tight enough, of couse i was wrong lol. so i took it back off and tightened it and now that part is fine. and the first time the hose under the tb was kinked anyways so im glad i fixed that. my idel is around 950. if i adjust the tps should that fix my idel? and yeah i tried that and then i just used the end of a screw driver, that worked the best.
