Timing belt

Timing belt
I have decided I am gonna change the timing belt so I went and got the timing belt, balance shaft belt and the water pump with the gasket. Do I need to replace anything else while I am already working on it????

RE: Timing belt
I would check all your belts that run the alternator, ac pump etc. since you have to take them off anyway to change the belt. Also remember when you put the timing belt back on to put a big wrench on the intake cam to get the marks to line up just right or you will be taking the thing apart again like I had to when I did mine.

RE: Timing belt
I definately recommend replacing the hydraulic tensioner at the same time. Now would also be a good time to replace any oil seals that might be leaking. The upper and lower balance shaft seals tend to leak over time. Very easy replacement and the cost for the seals isn't bad either so replacing all of them shouldn't be too much extra.
