timing cover/motor mount removal

I have a '95 GS and the water pump bearings must have gone because the timing belt to the water pump melted, shredded, and then jammed the cam timing belt and did a number of melting the timing cover. Some of my valves are probably shot, and I obviously need new belts, water pump, etc. I have the thing about 90% taken apart and I ran into a snag:
After removing the motor mount, I was able to get all but 2 bolts out of the metal plate on the timing cover. I managed to loosen all of the bolts, but there simply isn't enough room to pull them out all the way. The subframe gets in the way. Any tricks? Does the engine maybe move to the driver's side some? Thanks.

How much is it safe to jack up or let down the engine? I managed to get most of them out that way, but these would need me to move it like 2 inches or more. Here's a few views of the bolts that don't have room to come out.

All that should be killed in the motor is the water pump and a few valves (in my case cylinder 2 intake (times 2) and cylinder 3 exhaust (times 2)). Worst case, it hurt a piston, but that'd have to be an extra ballsy valve and extra crappy piston. I have the time to rebuild my head if I need to, otherwise I can just get a rebuilt one for $400 ish.

Figured it out...turns out that if you jack up a little more on the engine, the rearward of the two bolts left in can just clear the top of the power steering and I think brake lines (the metal ones). After that, you can turn the whole shebang, pull out that bolt and the front one comes with it. I guess the motor mounts on the other side can withstand a little more jacking up on this side than I thought. Thanks to everyone.
