so i filled my car up today and it was a little above 1/4 gas, and i put in $12, and that turned to be 3.50 gal of premium, and it shot up to a little below3/4 gas, is that right? anyways i get around 27 mpg in my 97 gst driving calmly and about 7 mpg driving fast.

 

2Gs should have a 16-17 gallon tank. 1000 AAQ states that all 2G cars have 17 gallon tanks, I believe they are closer to 16 gallons. Has anyone ever driven their car till the gas light came on? The last time I did that, I filled her up to 15 gallons.

...and I've heard this too. I fill my 95 2g AWD gas tank with more than 13 gallons on a weekly basis. I don't dare go below that because traffic can be a pretty long wait. It would seem that the gas tanks are more along the lines of 12-16 gallons. Why they would differ is beyond me.
Lycan, it seems to me that you and a few others have the smaller tanks. Since it has never really been tallied, I couldn't tell you how many there are, but there are quite a few of you guys out there.

 

yah at the most i would say its a 13 i dont think ive ever filled up when it was real close to being empty either so im not real sure. but the gas mileage is great!

 

i ran my car outta gas once and it only took 15 gal. witch was weird cuz i think they r really 16 tanks

 

I thought they were 12 gallon tanks.. But then you have the lines and hose.. So you can actually get more than 12 in there..

 

^ has a good point.... ive filled her up on a gas light, like around 15 - 16 ish, and i have a 2gb rs

 

on my old rs i had a 12-13 gallon tank... but i could still squeeze over 400 miles outta that tank

 

I usually drive until the light goes on, and even a little further. And for me a regular fillup costs around $40, and I get like 13.8-14gallons of gas. I have never gotten near 15, not to mention 17. And believe me, I drive until it's pretty much empty.
