How hard is it to install new shocks and struts on a 2G? Do you need some type of special compression tool, I have been told yes and no?

Used a spring compressor when we did mine... Made it easy.

Thanks that is what I needed to know. I looked on vfaq, but the guide ther was for swapping springs and shocks from one to the other. The process is the same except I use the spring compressor to compress the springs, and then undo the "center" nut on the top of the tower. Correct? Also does anyone have a link to a new shock/strut intsall? Thanks again.
