took my exhaust off
Well i orderd my 3" stanless turbo back exhaust today. I got under my car and took out the stock exhaust. The second O2 sensor wouldnt come out so i just said screw it and i bought a new one. So my new exhaust will be here tomorrow and i hope i will bolt it on my early to mid afternoon. Yes i did get a 3" cat
well i didnt unbolt my exhaust into sections, i just unbolted them from the hangers. I have an electric inpact wrench that i used for all but 2 bolts which i used a ratchet for. My bolts really wernt that bad. I got my exhaust off in about an hour. It would have been sooner but i was debating what to do with my o2 sensor. I cleaned out all the rubber hangers etc and i am picking up my exhaust in an hour and a half
well my new exhaust is on the car and it runs great. I have more power and better spool up. Its a real deep aggressive sound. I used a pacesetter down pip, magnaflow cat, and a vibrant performance cat back which all added together cost $880.00. I took my dad for a ride and he wants to put one on his gsx now. I wired in the 02 sensor very easily, IN MY OPINION!!!!:::: It is a bad idea to do an exhaust on a 2nd gen and not do an entire turbo back. There is no way i could have just done a cat back. After 11yrs it would be way to dificult to do just a cat back. Im glad i did a stanless turbo back
