Default Top leaking......

My top leaks when it rains real hard, just wondering if anyone changed the rubber lining on the top before. does a leak mean i need a whole new top? where could i go to get it fixed and how much do you think it would cost?

Where is the water leaking in specifically? If it's just in one spot then it's probably just a whole or small rip. Those can generally be repaired fairly cheap. If it's leaking from all around you may need to replace the whole top. I've heard aroun 2G for that but like I said that's just what someone told me. You could be bold and daring and try to refabricate it yourself!

sorry dude, I just got my drop top a few days ago...haven't even put it down yet. I would stop at an autobody shop or apulstry shop and ask them, you probably don't have to do the whole rubber.

Hey, I have had my car for about two months now, it leaks in the same spot that yours does, right where it meets on both sides of the car. I have tried everything I can think, even silicome but nothing seems to work. The water runs down from somewhere from the back part of the top I think. The best I can tell you is get a water hose and see if you can't find out where it originates from and I hope your is not as bad as mine, I gave up and use towels when it rains. The only place i can seem to find the top is at the dealership and that is pretty expensive for all the lining and stuff. If you do find out where it is coming from please let me know or if you find the top somewhere else. Later
