Default Tranny braking?? *Help*

Hello Well This is not about the bov lol. But my car is a auto gs-t and its been doing this for a wile but i thought it might go away.. when i put my car on Drive it rocks HARD. and also when i put it on P some times. also when i take off some times i feel like it dont wanna catch on 3rd gear. anyone know wat might be wrong or if i need a new tranny?

Sounds to me like your tranny is crashin. I had a 95 Pontiac Grand Prix that would drive fine and it had trouble going to 4th so you had to manually go down to 3rd gear and then back up to D and it worked. We ended up swapping out the tranny, so yeah.

yea dude i rather sell my car now and then buy a manuel car then spending about 2gs on a swamp.. cuz its just way to much money and work

yea thats not a bad idea... you could get ur tranny rebuilt too if you wanted to keep the car, you wouldnt necessarily have to buy a new transmission

I know its not that simple but if hes going to buy a different auto or even rebuild it. A swap is a option....

its not simple or cheap... just like he said, it is better to just get a new car... alot of tranny swaps end up causing many more issues
