Is there anything in the trannies of the 2g turbo cars that need to be replaced while mine is out. i want my car to hold up pretty good and tranny's take some abuse. is a lsd a smart choice or is it to rough on the tranny as well thanks alot

 

an LSD would be a great addition to the tranny. ive never heard of any problems with the 2G turbo trannies. since it is made for a turbo car, i would assume that its built pretty strong. i could be wrong on that though

 

I hear of 2G trannys shattering all the time. I have 3 buddies with DSMs two 95s i AWD one FWD and one 91 AWD. the 91 AWD after many 6-7k launches shattered into peices and the FWD95 what a tranny fail on him with bolt on mods and lots of abbuse. the AWD takes more hammering because people like the launch so they have more of a tendency to break. but if you treat it good youll be fine
