I was just wondering how often should you flush your transmission on the eclipse?

 

manual reccomends 60k you check the fluid, but id change it every 60k, bg synchroshift or similar

 

mine is auto, it has about 78k on it. i got one more question for you.. for a few mnths now ive been noticing when the car is idle for a few mins itll smoke, the smoke isnt blue.. can it be the gasket or is it a major problem?? any adivice would be appreciated thankss

 

my friend has a 91eclipse gs that he never checked the fluid and blew his trans i got a 90 eclipse gs 5spd. and its got 122k and i need to know where the **** is to check the fluid so can someone get back to me plz
