you aren't going to get much out of a tune but you can get an SAFCII. or you can get a Venom 400 chip. basically once you get to 25% throttle it goes from stock tune to the most agressive tune you can get out of it. i have it and there's definately a difference. i'm actually selling mine if you are intersted in it.

it doesn't "trick" the computer, it simply changes the timing, it tells the computer don't use this timing... use THIS timing. i'm selling it because i'm about to turbo my car and if i run my turbo with that timing on my car i'll end up with a very bad ride. it goes in stores for about 300 i'll sell mine for 200

Since the general consensus is that the 420a is slow-*** engine that needs turbo to be worth a damn, what is a good turbo kit that can be put in and at what approximate cost?

I also have an RS that im working on and I was going to get the Venom 400 then I changed my mind and started looking at SAFC II 's but then somebody told me that those air fuel controllers are pointless unless you have a turbo.....
Is this true, is it goin to be a waste of 300 bucks if I buy one?
